Every year Wharton students and partners consume over 3000 pizzas, 2160 liters of soda, and 4500 gallons of beer at our weekly Pub & Salon nights.

Philadelphia combines the best of all worlds.  You will find that Philadelphia is a remarkably “livable” city.  The city is compact and it is easy to walk to nearly everywhere you want to go.  Furthermore, the public transportation system in the city (particularly to school and to some of the closer suburbs) is reliable and inexpensive.  The city has a strong history, an arts community, a lively culture, excellent restaurants, as well as a healthy nightlife.  Regardless of which neighborhood you choose to live, all that Philadelphia has to offer is easily accessible.

They say it takes time to feel at home in a strange environment. In Philadelphia, it should take about a week. The city is a delightful mixture of large and small, it’s a metropolis with everything a big city can offer, but it’s also a neighborhood. You’ll always find it in Philly.

During Welcome Weekend, be sure to take some time to discover Philadelphia.
