Welcome to the Wharton Restructuring Club (WRC).
The WRC is an independent student-run, professional club at The Wharton School
of the University of Pennsylvania. WRC was established to assist
the Wharton community in learning about financial and operational
restructuring, seeking careers within those fields, and establishing
long-lasting relationships with companies within the industry. Join
WRC!
Mission/Objective
1. To provide a forum for industry awareness and
continuous learning for Wharton students and faculty interested
in the specialized field of restructuring.
2. To raise the profile of Wharton within the restructuring industry
by creating and fostering lasting relationships with companies,
professionals, and alumni in the industry.
3. To establish and strengthen on-campus recruiting within restructuring
by linking the Career Management Office to the industry, and educating
students of career options and development.
4. To create an interdisciplinary link between Wharton and the University
of Pennsylvania Law School regarding corporate restructuring and
bankruptcy law.
5. To coordinate with other Wharton clubs in areas of common interest.
Club History
Our
club was created in 2005, in response to the strong student interest
conveyed at our inaugural Wharton Restructuring Conference earlier
in the year. We look forward to a great year!!!
