Members of the Wharton Health Care Club are invited to participate in our myriad career resources and events:

Resume Reviews: The Health Care Club coordinates resume reviews for first year students interested in resume advice from second year Wharton students who have recently returned from summer internships

Interview Prep Materials/Company Office Hours: The Health Care Club compiles company overviews in addition to industry and company-specific interview questions. Members have access to all current and past material. In addition to a general interview prep session for the first year students, second years will hold office hours to give general advice and answer questions on both pre-business school and summer internship employers

Interview Prep Groups: The Health Club helps to coordinate interview preparation groups for those with common career interests. In these small groups, members share interview tips, industry experiences, industry trends and also mock.

Mock Interviews: The Health Care Club offers mock interview services by experienced second years for those first and second year club members seeking additional practice and feedback

On-site Company Visits: Members of the Health Care Club are often instrumental in helping to coordinate visits to health care specific companies during the regional Wharton Treks / Day-on-the-Jobs

Wharton Health Care Management Majors have utilized the resources and programs offered by the Health Care Club to assist them in finding excellent summer internship and jobs across all sectors of the Health Care Industry (Pharmaceuticals, Biotech, Medical Device, Consulting, Finance, Private Equity, Investment Banking, Payors, Providers, Government, and others).

Representative summer employers for the class of 2006 include the following: Amgen, Biogen Idec, Chiron, Endo Pharmaceuticals, Genentech, Gilead Sciences, Johnson & Johnson, Medtronic, Merck, Pfizer, Safeguard Scientific, Tengion, Vanda Pharmaceuticals, Visiting Nurse Service of New York. The class of 2006 also held internship positions at the following services firms: Booz Allen Hamilton, The Boston Consulting Group, Burrill & Co., Credit Suisse First Boston, Deloitte Consulting, Goldman Sachs, McKinsey & Company, JP Morgan, Lehman Brothers and Merrill Lynch.
